Applications from interested citizens of Bangladesh for the recruitment of graduate courses of Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Architecture and planning for the 2010-2011 Session is now open. Only students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination of the year 2007 or 2008 and HSC or equivalent examination, 2010;
students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination in 2007 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2009 and had improvement of character / changes in their respective Board of Education after 9/12/2009;
Students who have passed the GCE examination “O” Level in November 2006 or later and GCE ‘A’ level certificate from November 2009 or later
will be able to take the admission subject to fulfillment of other conditions. The students, who had been sitting for the entrance examination of BUET not previously eligible to apply.
The application form for 2010-2011 of BUET admission test will not be available online and applications can only be paid through SMS using Tele Talk prepaid phone.
No printed application form will be sold at this university or elsewhere, and other forms of payment except via SMS, will not be accepted.
Eligibility to participate in the hearing
Candidates must pass HSC and Alim or equivalent with at least a total of 19.00 average rating in mathematics, physics, chemistry and English from one of the secondary and higher secondary education boards or madrasa education board and technical education or equivalent overall grade in courses equivalent to a board of education abroad.
Not more than 6,300 candidates from all applications properly filled will be selected to sit for entrance exam, but all candidates will ensure 6300: position and is eligible to take the test. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total points of each candidate’s degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry and English in the HSC examination or equivalent. In case of applicants achieve the same overall average of the votes, the position on pay is determined by giving preference to good for the HSC degrees in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and then English, followed by GPA achieved in the HSC exams, and then GPA obtained in SSC investigation.
All tribal applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be eligible to take the entrance exam.
